Is there already a router on the network and this will be second router? Can you please describe how the network is currently configured? (i.e. modem, routers, switches, etc.). Also, what make/model D-Link router are you looking to connect to this network?

Please see the following router FAQ entry: Bridge Mode vs Relay vs Acess Point (AP) / Routers vs Dedicated Acess Points (AP).

You will find several links in the last paragraph of the above referenced FAQ post containing detailed instructions.

I'll pass this thread on to one of our router gurus (who authored the router FAQs) and should be online in a bit.  ;)

Router model is N150 from dlink

N150 is not the model number, just the speed of the router. The model number typically starts with "DIR" or "DAP" (e.g. DIR-615, DIR-605L, etc.). Also, what is the make and model of the other router in the network? (i.e. you mentioned that there are two routers -- existing router + D-Link router you want to tether to the network).

I think you can use Bridge on the 600L to connect to the main host router wirelessly is all or use the 600L as a wired AP.

Try setting up the Bridge mode on the 600L to connect to the main host router...if that does not work, I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.

Let us know how it goes...
