New Firmware available for the DSM-750 1.01.16

Release notes:

1.  Support for 1080p TVs and video files
2.  Look of the Home page altered to improve navigation & readability
3.  Online Media icon added to the home page
4.  Support for Rhapsody music service
5.  Support for Live365 Internet Radio service
6.  Support for vTuner Internet Radio service
7.  Remote control support changed to support Xbox 360 remote
8.  DVR-MS playback A/V sync issue in MediaLounge mode resolved
9.  Control point (aka "slave mode") access enabled for playing video and music files from a compliant UPnP server
10. Browsing music & video media files/folders now supports only List mode (no thumbnail browsing).
11. Photo files/folders supports browsing by thumbnail or list mode
12. "16:9" and "4:3" renamed "Widescreen" & "Normal" in A/V Settings Menu
13. Default device name is now "D-Link DSM-750"
14. Audio tracks button improved to support multiple audio tracks in supported video files
15. Entering a wireless security key is now readable until entered
16. Reduced the amount of marqueeing text in the music player page

I have not uploaded and tested this firmware, did this update address the WMV/WVC1 issues???

I Guess not...everything remains the same except for the above mentioned update.

I have noticed that while playing content from TV Tonic (which is now available in an x64 version, finally) the screen saver activates during playback.  I have disabled the screen saver in the system menu in the hopes that it will solve the problem.  Is this a known issue with the new firmware, or was it a problem with the previous version as well?  I don't remember this happening with the previous version, but I wasn't using TV Tonic at that time, so it is hard for me to tell if it's actually an issue with the firmware, or TV Tonic.

Rhapsody is not reliable.  Sometimes it works fine, others it loads fine but will not play a selection.

vTuner works fine, but we are back to the earlier days of the Media Lounge version on the 520 in that there a number of vTuner radio stations that are not available.  This issue was corrected in the later editions of the software for the 520.  For example, on the 520 I can get CBC Radio 2 - but it is missing on the 750.

I know firmware updates takes some time, but is there any update coming soon regarding some of the issues I had mentioned (most importantly WMV/WVC1 play back issues)?

I just let the DSM-750 do the update.  Everything seems to be working fine.  Are there any release notes?

3.  Added support for FLAC audio files.
4.  Enhanced the support for WMV HD files.
5.  Remove the Yahoo Music icon from online services.
6.  Added support for playback of videos using the MediaMall PlayOn service.
7.  Control of SRT subtitles improved in MediaLounge mode. (User can control subtitles on/off, position onscreen, delay or advance subtitles for better sync, font color and font size.)
8.  Support of SRT, SMI,  SSA, ASS, Subviewer1 & Subviewer2 subtitles when played from a USB drive.
9.  Support for WPL playlists on USB drives.

Would this mean that most .mkv files are now supported?  And if this is the case, does it require if you have them on a DNS-343 that it also supports .mkv files in it's UPnP AV server capability?  Reason I ask is that I have several .mkv files in a folder on a DNS-343 that is set up for UPnP AV, and other files show up fine, but none of my .mkv files show up.

ECF, a bit confused here...does this address the WVC1 issue or is this for WMV9 HD video files (which are WMV3 HD video files)

I haven't had time to play around with this update as yet.
