Well I thought I had some success when I downgraded to SX Virtual Link 3.3 from 3.6. I was finally able to mount the drive to my desktop on my macbook pro, but now all I get is the connect disconnect routine. When I restart my computer the drive is able to mount once again but then it tells me the device was not removed properly when I try accessing files off the drive. It then won't let me unmount the drive and then freezes up my entire computer. This now happens every time I restart my computer and try using virtual link. Now I am back to wondering like the rest of you why this **** just won't work. Should have just gone for the airport extreme I suppose.

D-Link 655 1.34NA
OS X 10.5.8
Maxtor, Lacie, WD hard drives all with the same results
