On power light in my Modem

I bought a D-Link wireless ADSL router (model DSL-2740B)

for the first time when I turn on the power but  power light and the modem is not working. but after I connect it to the computer only LAN light is working solid green.

any one knows about this issue

could you please help.

  • What Hardware version is your modem? Look at the sticker under modem.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the modems web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

I would review the user manual to see what the problem is.
Is the modem working and providing internet connection?

If this is a new modem, I would return it for another on.
