This procedure describes how to update the firmware on a D-Link DCS-930L, DCS-932L, and DCS-942L.
DCS-930L/DCS-932L/DCS-942L
- Download the firmware file to your PC desktop (from the myDlink website for your region)
- Using a web browser, enter the IP address of your camera
- Use a browser to log into the camera web interface
- Navigate to: MAINTENANCE > Firmware Upgrade
- Upgrade the firmware (select the firmware file previously saved to your desktop)
Notes
- Benefits of saving a Configuration Settings File prior to upgrading firmware: DCS-9XXL - Configuration Settings File (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=48125.0)
- If the firmware file is compressed (e.g. zip extension), un-compress the firmware file prior to upgrading
- Do not upgrade firmware via a wireless connection as a network disruption can render the DCS-9XX camera unusable.
