Title: Where is my IP address? It's not 10.0.0.2!
Post by: PolkaFever on October 28, 2010, 02:24:39 PM
Hi all!

Before I could see my correct IP address in the admin GUI (Device Info) > IP address: xxx.xx.xxx.xxx, but now I only see Device Info > IP Address : 10.0.0.2

I suspect that's why I now can't log in to my servers from outside the network. Using my correct IP or My DynDNS gets me to a closed door. Port Forward is as it was when this worked.
Something might have happened when I change my ISP, but what? And where did the correct IP go in device info?

BTW: I'm running 1.30EU

This is driving me nuts. Please help!

10.0.0.2 is a private IP. That means your router is connected to a router (yo dawg).

So 10.0.0.2 is still your correct (private) IP. To find your public IP you naturally need to enter the web UI of the first router on the network.

New ISP means new Public IP address, check on the Status page for the address the router is getting from your ISP.
