« on: October 11, 2009, 12:15:27 AM »

hello there...
we need to block internet access for all users except the owner and assistants ... iconfigured the firewall before to enable the web access authentication but seems like it was stolen many times.thnks

ps the company policy stats that all clients should use automatic ip configuration ..so there is no chance for owner and assistants  get a static ip..

Sure there is give them a static DHCP reservation.

And once you have done that write IP rules allowing their IPs and remove the default NAT rule that would allow everyone else on-line.

p.s. If it comes down to getting internet or not the owner may decide that policy needs changed.

Then write rules allowing them the resources they need and ensure those rules are above rules that shut everyone down.
