Just upgraded from v1.10 to this version....file uploaded, firmware installed ok, let the reboot countdown from 145 secs to 0...go upstairs to check the NAS and I've got just a blue flashing power light. Left it for half an hour, powered off, unplugged mains and powered back on again, still blue flashing light - no HDs spinning up.

Can you please advise? I NEED files on my NAS.

Try a reset on the DNS?
What is the Mfr and model router the DNS is connected too?
How was the FW applied? Wired PC connected to router and DNS connected to router as well?
Does the DNS get a IP address from the router? Check routers connected clients page for this information.

Hello Guyz, Im Just not being able to upgrade at all my NAS. Current version 1.08

Constantly i get a failure.  I even tried with different browsers and PC's and differernt OS.

The current version constantly gives me problems aswell. It freezes (Can't acces the transimission web interface or the mapped folder, cant even map the folder. Just can access the interface which contantly give user time out and logs me off) and I every now then I have to force the poweroff (unplugging the powercable) and start again.

Is there any suggestion while trying to uploading the new firmware, that this get's installed correctly ?

Hey sorry for the late answer. Upgrading to 1.09 or even downgrade didn't work.

The worst thing is that my plugins have stop working and I can access to my data very very rarely....

Like after restarting the NAS 4 times in hour, I can see the plugins has if nothing happened and access to the information (Very limitted that I can't even copy). And after a while everything crashes...

Have you tried removing or un-installing ALL the plug-ins, then try to do a FW update?

The update simply doesnt work. When you press authorize it opens a new window, with a huge "sharepointnas.dlinkddns" like url

After a while there is an error (the page is not responding)

I come to the conclusion that maybe they fixed it for a while (2 months ago when the fw wa released) and then they took down the website that does the authorization.

Google drive also does not work
Talking about god awful support.

I stopped checking every now and then because dlink initially informed methat theproduct is dead and that I should not expect another fw.

Now I find out that they released a firmware that apparently does not work any more.....

What are you referring too in regards to this  "sharepointnas.dlinkddns" like url?

The FW file for this update is active and still downloadable...

What Authorization site are you referring too?

For any Google Drive features, you'll need to contact Google as Google Drive is apart of Google support.

This user seems to have this working:

When you enter the dropbox page you have to connect to your dropbox account and then click AUTHORIZE.

when you click AUTHORIZE  it opens a new windows that tries to connect to a huge url. It starts with http://sharecenternas.dlinkddns.com ....

You wait for some seconds and then you get an error. Page is not responding. Obviously it was a temporary fix, and the page/service that actually does the authentication is down.

The other guy that got it working tried that a month ago.

The firmware file is active, so what?

Try it and see for yourselves.

You might contact DropBox support and ask them about there services. Drop should have some information.
I'll pass this along to D-Link for review...

Since yesterday, the error has changed. When you press authorize, it does not even open the browser window. It simply displays, connection error.

From bad to worse.

THe worst is that Dlink support made me open a support ticket only to reply to me that the product is discontinued, but later they released a firmware fix that does not work.

Tragic.
