Sticky Faq says :Always use the latest version of the Setup Wizard software when upgrading to the latest version of firmware on a D-Link DCS network camera that was not previously configured (i.e. never used). This procedure is recommended due to dependencies that may exist between certain firmware versions and Setup Wizard software versions.

Upgrading the firmware on a D-Link DCS network camera that was already configured usually does not require using the Setup Wizard software unless the camera is being configured for mydlink connectivity for the first time or associated with a new mydlink account

Trouble is new wizard version wont install with my camera wired to the network. I also could only get the wireless setup to actually work with the unit out of the box so I thought it needed the firmware upgraded but I cant get that to work either it justs sets there and does nothing when uploading the new  version.
Btw is there a more detailed name for the "Setup Wizard" seems rather confusing to me I'm guessing dlink has a lot of different Setup Wizards.
