Title: Can connect to PPTP VPN on LAN, however not on the WAN
Post by: Sarekrn on November 06, 2010, 10:28:28 PM
Hey guys here is my issue. I can connect to the vpn server through the DIR-130 on my local network However whenever I try to connect via a different network I get the 800 error, cant even get to the username/password thing.. Ive tried forwarding my1723 & 47 to my local VPN server addy, to no avail.. Im really stuck atm, It doesnt make sense to me why is would work locally and not work remotely if the ports are forwarded... Any ideas?

Dustin

I can telnet to port 1723 but not 47.. If I use the pptpclnt the gre packets wont go through.

How do I ensure GRE passthought with this router?
