Title: 5020 Set up wizard
Post by: eyeman on January 30, 2015, 07:19:33 AM
First post.  I"m looking for assistance with setting up an account.  When I go to support and click on the Set up wizard nothing happens.  I sometimes get a Java notice error too.  I was able to back door the set up and get a picture, but when I enter a password the system does not even recognize my email as being valid.  Any help is appreciated, as I have sent 3 messages to dlink without a response.  Thanks.

What region are you located?

Have you set up a mydlink.com (http://mydlink.com) account first using a web browser?
mydlink.com Supported Browsers
Internet Explorer 7 or higher (32-bit) - Add mydlink.com to the "Compatibility View" exceptions list.
Firefox 12 or higher
Chrome 20 or higher
Safari 6 or higher (Mac OS only)

Add mydlink.com to the Java security exceptions list as well.

After that, then you should be able to set up the camera and link it to the newly created and verified mydlink account.

You can create a mydlink account at mydlink.com, but the Setup Wizard is required to associate the DCS-5020L with your mydlink account. The Setup Wizard application is not required to configure the camera, which can be completed direction from the web UI.

Where did you get your current version of the Setup Wizard? Please visit mydlink.com/support and download the latest version.
