Can't see NAS drives
« on: October 10, 2008, 04:08:31 PM »

I'm setting up the 343 on a MacBook, 10.5.5. I also run WinXP via VM Fusion. Once I got the two drives past hanging at 94% format (deleted cookies per FAQ), I could access the NAS via the web UI from both the Mac and PC sides, but I can't see the drives in Finder or Windows Explorer. I've played with the settings, updated the firmware, etc., but still nothing. Any ideas?

In the web UI on the status page does it show under HARD DRIVE INFO as being present and formatted properly? Are you using RAID1 or RAID5?

Try going to you run command clicking the Windows icon and in the command line type \\192.168.x.x (DNS-343 IP address) and press Enter.  Do you have a Volume_1?
