Title: Won't connect wirelessly to Apple Airport Express
Post by: IanVideos on September 24, 2013, 12:04:08 AM
Hi all,

I can't seem to get my DSM-310 to connect wirelessly to my Apple Airport Express.  It sees the SSID fine but when I type in the password and try to join the network, it just won't connect.

The DSM-310 works fine with other non-Apple routers so this seems to be an isolated case.  Do any of you have suggestions as to how I can get this work?

Thank you in advance for any suggestions you may have.

Ian

What WiFi and security modes are you using on the AE?
What mode is the AE running, Router or AP mode?
Try WPA2 and AES only as a test. Try WPA2 and TPIK only.
Does the 310 connect to the AE if you disable the WiFi security temporarily?
Do other devices connect to the AE?

If this connects to other non Apple routers and doesn't with the AE, I presume there could be an issue with the Apple device. You'll need to seek Apples help on this if needed.
