Can Not access Cameras Through internet
« on: August 21, 2017, 04:57:49 AM »

I tried JustConnect+ because I liked the way I could view all four cameras at once and they would load instantly. Problem is, once I leave my wifi, I lose the live feed from the cameras. I'm not too bright with computers, so can anyone help me in low tech terms. With D-Link Lite it takes 30 seconds each to load each of the view screens, but I can view the live feeds. I have an iPhone 5s with latest updates, 4 cameras are DCS-5222L-B1 updated with latest firmware, PC running Windows 10/64 bit
Thanks

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your DCS? Look at the sticker behind or under the camera.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the DCSs web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

What Mfr and model ISP modem do you have?
What Mfr and model is the main host router?

You have to set up the app for the WAN IP address your router gets from the ISP modem/services, so you'll have one setting for your local LAN side while your home and one for when your away from home.
