I am trying for 2 days now to install the router but I keep getting the same error at the end of the installation process of the device! The error sounds like this "NO Ethernet Adapter be found! Please check your network connections"....I have checked everything but I still can't manage to make it work...If anybody knows why this error keeps appearing please contact me!

Hi there, I can relate to how you feel! I'm getting the same message!!!
I'm getting really cheesed off now >:(
My internet connection is fine when directly connected to the internet
via the cable modem, yet when i try to connect the router by the quick installation from the cd......
Let me know if you find out a way to fix this.
BTW I have a dlink dir-100 and have an onboard ethernet port with newest drivers.

I don't know where you are getting this error from, but you shouldn't be.
Please provide more information, does it work without the quick install CD?

Hi Fatman,
What do you mean when you ask "does it work without the quick install CD?"?
Is there a way to install the router manually? The router seems to be working fine as in the correct lights are lit up. Can you help? The problem is when it does not recognise the onboard ethernet port.
Please help!!!!!!!!

Installation by CD is a bad option at best, if you don't understand the process from the QIG or manual on http://support.dlink.com then please try calling in for support so we can walk you through the process.
