When you ran the Wizard on the CD, did you successfully complete the mydlink registration portion?

i completed the registration when i ran the setup disk.., but i get an error: "you are unable to connect to the mydlink web site, and your camera could not be added to your mydlink account."

I am running the camera directly with an ethernet cable.
I also am using a forwarder from dyndns
i am running the latest firmware update from the taiwan website.

I encountered the same issue with my DCS-932L and was unable to register the camera with mydlink despite all efforts. My first suggestion to you at this point is to update the firmware to the latest version and walk through the Wizard again.

I experienced the identical issue that you presently facing.

D-Link technical support walked me through the device setup (including flashing the device) and was unable to resolve the issue. D-Link technical support said that a similar issue periodically presented itself on a small number of DCS-930Ls that was unresolvable with no known root cause. They believed that this might be a recurrence of the DCS-930L issue, except on the DCS-932L. The only recourse was to issue an RMA.

I suggest you call D-Link technical support and go through proper channels. If the issue isn't resolvable, they will most likely issue you an RMA.

What is an RMA?

I'm having a very similar problem. I just made a new thread here

What is an RMA?

RMA = Return Merchandise Authorization.

This is an acronym for the issuance of a merchandise exchange or return.

I bought my camera used so it says I can't register it because it's already registered to another account.  Is there any way around that.  Sorta paranoid to start using it if it's still registered to someone else's account. :-\

Try resetting the camera to the factory defaults and reconfigure (if you haven't already done this since acquiring the camera):

  • While the camera is powered-up, hold a paperclip in the pinhole on the rear of the DCS-932L for > 3 seconds
  • Walk through the CD Wizard to reconfigure the camera.

Please let us know how things turn out.

The wizard says it has to be removed from the previous account before I can register it to my mydlink account.  Says it even after I did the factory reset  :-\

You might want to try calling customer support. Although you purchased the camera used, the device has a 1-year warranty. Since the DCS-932L was released less than a year ago, I don't see how you acquired the camera to be at issue.

See the following sticky post for the toll free support number: http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=41270.0

Again, please let us know how things work out.
