Title: hot to add dns-345 to windows 2003 domain active direktory

Hello,
how to add dns-345 to domain network:

dc1.domain.com  x.x.x.1
dc2.domain.com  x.x.x.2

active direcory on dc2

backup operator is domain\backupop

plase help me step by step

we first bought the dns -320 , and then dns -345 so we used it as a backup device . None of these devices can not add the active directory , please help us to justify our investment

If I understand it correctly, AD support is still just on a DNS-325 firmware wishlist. And there is no forum for DNS-345 yet.
There are instructions for DNS-323 on the web, but these require you to run fun_plug on the NAS.
Just google for "Successfully connected DNS323 to Active Directory Domain"

I don't know if there was an earlier version of the firmware out for the DNS-345. I just bought my NAS today which came with FWV 1.00 and I was able to connect it to my SBS 2011 domain without any issues.

Login to your DNS-345 go to Management -> Account Management -> Active Directory

You must use your domain admin account for the username and password, so Administrator/and then your password.

DNS just point to your DC DNS server. (example. 10.1.10.10)
Workgroup name is the local Netbios name. (example. costos)
RealName is the FQDN. (example. costos.local)
AD server name is your DC's server name. (exmaple. ADserver1)
