Title: DNR 202L Disconnect
Post by: BAMoh on September 20, 2016, 07:07:22 PM
DNR202L after 20 days of continuous operation disconnected from router and reconnected but in mydlink a red X remained. Seems it was still running but after a disconnect it cant be reassigned into mydlink without unplugging/replugging the LAN cable.
Or the DNR202L disassociated itself from mydlink only?
Anyone else experience this? What is the cause?

all my cams are disconnected according to mydlink.com but i can see them all through the 202l

I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting each one but still disconnected at the web apps. Im giving it another day before doing any hard reset keeping in mind that dlink just recently did a maintenance from the 19th to 5am of the 20th....so who knows....it could be the web apps

OK thanks.

Only the DNR 202L disconnected and did not reconnect. The cams set up on the DNR 202L did not disconnect. Same for other cams not used with the DNR 202L.
The DNR 202L shows network disconnect followed by an immediate reconnect. Assuming its a router fault why didn't the DNR 202L reconnect, especially given it was on a LAN cable?

Is this a firmware bug?

I have not noticed this.

I will leave it up the the DLINK labs to see if they investigate this. If they don't then pity them. I am not gonna do their work -- only report problems as a customer should.

Does your DNR have a Dynamtic IP address or a Static? I recommend using a static IP address on the DNR that's out side of the routers DCHP IP address pool. Mines set for 192.168.0.202.
