Title: problems with media bridge
Post by: mfmayes49 on March 14, 2016, 04:54:38 PM
I have a dir-890l and i'm using a linksys wumc710. The problem is when i use the wps, the media bridge keeps disconnecting and cycling power off and on. All my other usb network adapters that are not using wps work fine. I installed a Linksys wrt1900acs and the media bridges all work fine. Is this a defect in the router. I just bought it 3 days ago.

What happens if you tell the Linksys bridge to connect to the SSID name and PW of the 890L is stead of using WPS.

Is Smart Connect enabled?

Possible WPS issue...
Which radio do you have the bridge connected too?

I have a DIR-880L and a Netgear Media bridge that runs in bridge mode connected to the 890L. I don't use WPS though. SC was enabled for my 890L.

You could try the beta FW.
