Title: Dlink Lite app, red X's but cameras work through web
Post by: taymag on November 29, 2016, 05:19:24 AM
For some reason my camera get a random red X in the app and wont let me click them until I unplug them and plug them back in. I run 5 932L's and its totally random when they do this and it does it to them all, maybe 3 times a week with a different camera. I know my cameras are working, they are even recording when they have the red X in the app, they just don't show that they work in the app. If I login on my computer they work fine even when they have the X on the app.

All cameras are up to date on firmware and this is happening with Rev A and Rev B camera.

Any status on this?

Theres been some issues with the MDL service. There was a maintenance update on the service a few days ago.

I just updated my iPhone app and the majority of my cameras still have a red X. It seems to have gotten worse, not every 932L that is on there (5) all have the X, the only one actually working is my 2330L, so this may be a camera update issue.

Like I said originally though, these cameras are still working, I get email notifications from then and I can view them in my DVR app, its just the Dlink Lite app that isn't showing them working. Ill also add I've had all these cameras setup the exact same for years

I sent an email to support about the DNR-202L not keeping online with there service the other day. Since then the DNR has been online and hasn't dropped. You might either email them or phone contact them and list all camera serial numbers and mention that these cameras work on the LAN side and keep disconnecting on there mydlink.com service. Include a link to this thread as well.
