Title: DCS-932LB1 - Mac OS 10.10 - FTP Set Up - Can not connect to the server Issue
Post by: jmbillon on November 01, 2014, 01:15:25 AM
I have successfully installed the camera with my wireless and I can see live recording via my D-Link on my Mac, my iPhone and my iPad.  However, I when I try to set up the FTP server and run the test, I keep getting the same "Can not connect to the server" status. I used the IP address indicated in "System Preference > Network" window, the default port of "21", the name and password I use to logon on the computer and the location when the share folder is created to upload/save the file.  My router is from Verizon.
Any idea as to what I am missing. Thank you in advance for your help.

Remove all special characters from username and password and try that.

Thank you.  I tried that but it does not work either.  I have the feeling the problem is with OS X Yosemite and the FTP Server because the camera is working fine in live.  I just called the vendor and will return the camera.  I will keep researching other options to understand how to access the Mac OS X FTP server before purchasing the camera.  Thanks for your help anyway.  Jean-Marie

If you can test with a Prior version of OSX to see. I kind of doubt is the camera rather an OSX or configuration issue here.
