Title: internet not available
Post by: tjkoller on October 20, 2010, 08:24:18 AM
I just bought a dgl-4100 and am using win 7 64. When i hooked it up with the quick start guide my computer can't access  int. In control panel networks it says my connection internet not available. I had blue lights on both wan and lan connections. When I went to http:// 192.168.0.1 I had 2 choices, logon or work offline. Logon doesn't work so I choose offline. After sighning in the following screen no options are available because i'm offline. I sent an email to dlink 2 weeks ago with no response. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have an always on connection (most Cable internet services) or do you have to enter a user name and password (Usually DSL) to access the internet, Was your old router set up to enter that information for you?

Try to unplugged or reset the router and then bring up browser and use the IP address of the router to configure it manually. This may help you to connect to internet otherwise call your service provider and tell them about the problem you are facing.
