Camera no longer supported by iPhone
« on: January 18, 2013, 09:36:02 AM »

As of Jan. 16th my cameras are longer supported by mydlink Lite app on my iPhone or iPad. I get these "?" icons next to my camera models. I can view them from my PC's. What happened? Does this have something to do with Java issues?

What model cameras are you referring too?

This is a recurring issue that typically arises from frequent mobile device OS updates. There's typically a lag between OS releases and app updates from D-Link.

So the issue that we are having is a DLink ios app issue, not a camera issue?

I have eight DCS-930 and four DCS-932L and all of the have the question marks on the i-phone app now after update to the app. I am away from home for long periods of time and I bought these so I could watch my home while I'm away. This isn't cool at all. D-link needs to make sure their products will work after updates or they will find my next purchase wont be Dlink!

How do we fix this now. My firmware it up to date?

Unfortunately, the only option is to wait for D-Link to release an update to the app that's in sync with whatever OS changes to the iPhone are causing the incompatibility.

Stupid question. I have a DCS-2210, as you say you have eight DCS-930 (not "L"), that I suppose worked before the update, do you think my DCS-2210 could work with mydlink lite or + ?
App description doesn't include it, but neither the DCS-930 is...
BTW, has the problem been solved?
