865-L Back online
« on: November 05, 2013, 04:24:52 PM »

Alright Furry, so I updated the 865 to the latest FW and I LIKEY ;D  Configured the router back into my network and will be testing the wireless. The router is located in the center of the house and is connected to 1 of my wireless bridges and acting as an AP.

 Aside from your urging me to put the router to work, I sold the 857 today so I HAD to put something in place of the 857.  :) Kinda glad to have the 865L back online, oh happy gaming for me , bought BF4 for the PC despite all the multiplayer server issues, Origin has put out an open letter acknowledging all the issues since last weeks launch, many patches is forthcoming. Bought it still and installed as we speak, it is updating!!!! Hopefully any new patches I will get. Pass on COD ghost , read the review and it is horrible, just a rehash of 3 and the graphics were bad, they showed live game play on the PS4 and it was a joke. When your character is walking in the bushes they literally dissappear of fade into you....really, they couldn't have tweaked that better. Big COD fan here, but they have destroyed and milked that franchise forever.

RIP=857
Long live 865L ;D

Graphics were bad for Ghost?
I'm actually impressed by Ghosts graphics on Xbox. Not bad at all. Still out on overall impression at the moment. Pick up a rental last nite. I guess I'm going to go buy it and play the campaign. Can do up to 6 players on campaign I guess which is what I wish CoD had done long time ago like Halo did. Playing campaign makes it so much better with others to play with. Good luck with BF4. Played BF2 and 3. Gave up on 3. 4 looks good though.

Keep us posted on the 865L. Im thinking about putting it back online too since the new FW was released. Didn't get much time with it as the main router.

Hope the 857 found a good home. It's a good router too.  ::)
