DWR 116 Port Forwarding

Hi..
I am using d-link dwr 116 and Huawei E3276 - 4G LTE 100 Mbps for internet access, and there is no problem with the conection.., how to use port forward using this router?? is that a different between virtual server and port forwarding???

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?
  • Are you wired or wireless connected to the router?


Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations
  • What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
  • What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?

Vritual Server you can set up rules for multiple PCs to connect, where port forward only sets up rules to connect ports to one particular PC or IP address.
