Title: Can't login to Admin portal, receive unsupported protocol / Cypher error
Post by: gnet158 on July 16, 2023, 12:54:56 PM
Hello all,

I tried to access my NAS admin portal and received the following error message.  I was able to access via Firefox by changing the TSL settings.  But how do I get this fixed?  I'm running the default 1.03 firmware, do I need to upgrade?  The latest is 1.05b09.  If I need to upgrade do I need to worry about backing up my data before the upgrade?  Anyone run into any problems after the upgrade?  Thanks!

uses an unsupported protocol.

I would read through this:

http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=59949.0 (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=59949.0)

seems like many had issues, don't plan on any real support if something goes wrong.

Thanks, I was able to d/l and apply the beta FW without any issues.  But I still need to use Firefox to access my NAS.  Great little device, I've had mine for 10 years now.  I guess I need to start looking at something else.
