Duplicate entries in display
« on: April 29, 2008, 01:44:52 PM »

After each refresh, the original entries are being duplicated.  Is there a solution?

Do you have the latest firmware 1.06? What NAS device or PC media server software are you serving your files from?

Yes I have 1.06 installed.  I am using the D-link media server software.

When I refresh my movie folder, it adds it to my shared folder path (7 times so far).  I have tried to delete them but  if shut down the d-link software on the computer and restart it, the duplicates reappear.

What version of the software are you running? You can also use Window Media Player 11 or most any other media server software.

WMP11 setup:

Your database has become corrupt.  The simple fix is to uninstall the software and then reinstall it.

I have had very good success with FUPPES.  It is freeware and works beautifully with both the DSM-520 and Playstation 3.  The D-Link software does not work with a Playstation 3 but FUPPES does, so if you have one, give it a try.  One important note it that FUPPES does not use a lot of processor overhead.  For anyone interested, if you need help with the config file.  Let me know and I will post one here. You will need to edit the PS3 Section and IP for the computer hosting the files, other than that, it should work for you fine.
