What happens if you switch to AC mode?

I check mine, mine has all channels, however I'm using Mixed ALL modes...

Nothing, unfortunately. Have tried all various modes, but still only the four channels.

Ok, I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask them about this:
http://www.dlink.com/no/nb/support/contact

Please let us know if you find out anything...they may be a regional issue for your region.

Just looking at the User Manual for the EU region, I see that chl 161 is displayed in the manual on page 43. I presume that channels above 48 would be supported.

Someone let us know what they find out from D-Link EU please.

Hi,
I have a thought, I am not sure it will solve the problem, but I wonder what would happen if you change the time zone on the router to say the Eastern US, if this would have any effect on the channels displayed.  This wouldn't fix the problem but if the higher 5 GHz channels are then available, you would know the glitch is definitely firmware.  I picked the Eastern US because I know that works on my A-1 V1.04.  Worth a try anyway.  Good luck

Thanks for posting your idea.

I wonder if you selected on your NA unit, something over in the EU region, would your 868L exhibit the same problem?

Changing Time Zones shouldn't effect the channel behavior however anything could be possible I guess.

Hi again,
I was trying your suggestion, probably as you were typing, but no joy.  All of  the 5GHz channels were still available and then I even tried rebooting everything and they were all still there.  Sorry, it seems to be a dead end.  These things keep your mind busy though.  Good luck guys.

Here's some more thoughts.  Possible weird browser issue, try with a windows machine and use IE and Firefox to test.  Weird firmware issue, try over writing the original firmware with one downloaded from the US site or WW.  Call Dlink support, possible hardware issue.  Good luck

Any status on this?  ???

Thank you, but it does not appear to be the same issue... We are talking here about having only four channels on the 5GHz band - 36, 40, 44 and 48. Where are channels 52, 56, 60, 64; also missing are 100 - 140 - all of these should be allowed in EU.

I haven't been able to fix it either so far.
The issue is really strange and annoying, especially because I upgraded from a Netgear WNDR4500 because it didn't support channels higher than 48 -.-'

I'm still on the latest firmware: A1 - 1.07

One other notable thing is that I'm using the device as an Access Point, so DHCP is disabled. Even though it shouldn't, could that perhaps have anything to do with it?

No, all channels appear with or with out DHCP being disabled. You can test to see if any chanced if you re-enabled DHCP.

Have you phone contacted your regional D-Link support office about this yet?

Let us know if you get any information regarding this...

Haven't contacted them by phone yet (mainly because I only have a mobile phone with only 100min/sms per month xD), but I started a support ticket on the D-Link self-support site today, so I'll see how that turns out. If they don't know a solution either, I guess I'll just have to call.

We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.

Keep us posted...
