Setting up hotspot in 5 GHz
« on: May 11, 2022, 12:46:20 AM »

I've bought the dwa-x1850 to use as wifi hotspot from my pc to Meta/Oculus Quest 2 Air link setup. I am a windows 10 user.

The problem that I'm facing right now is that after setting up the device to serve as a hotspot - it uses 2.4 GHz by default. To establish smooth image streaming I need to have it set up as WIFI6 with 5 GHz. I've tried changing the advanced settings in adapter, but it doesn't seem to even have such value to change.

The documentation provided for the device is really basic and I can't seem to find any advanced one anywhere. Could someone please help me reconfigure this device?
