Hi , I have a DLink DCS-933L ip camera.I tried streaming it through VLC and the below URL works

http://ipaddress/video.cgi.

VLC then asks for a username and password and it works properly.

However I tried giving the username and password directly in the url like the below:
http://ipaddress/mjpeg.cgi?user=admin&password=&channel=2

But VLC gave me 401 authorization error:

Could someone help me pls!Thanks in advance!!

This url seems to work!

http://username:password@ipaddress:port/video1.mjpg.
