So far so good.
Same options as 1.02 i could see any changes. Wireless as poor as always, like almost anyone here 5 meters away and it pick 20% strength signal. Not my iphone, laptop, or ipad seems to have any trouble with the wifi signal.
Upgraded wired to the router.
I don't see any changes from the wishlist applied to this new firm.

The latest firmware done wirelessly from the mydlink website bricked my camera.
Now what? I cannot seem to revive it in any way

Flash the camera back to the factory defaults. While the camera is powered on, press and hold the recessed reset button on the rear of the camera with a paperclip for > 8 seconds.

This procedure will restore the camera to the factory default settings and firmware.

Thanks for responding...

I tried that and even held reset button for longer ( almost 30 secs ) and the light just stays red.
I need plan B :(

Is the camera toast , what exactly happened ?

Can you access the DCS-930L web interface using a browser on a local PC?

Log into your router web interface. The router will list the IP address of all connected devices. Try all of them until you find the one that works.

Connect the DCS-930L to your router through a wired connection and the router will pick it up. Let's try to get a wired connection working first, then try wireless later.

Ever since I've purchased this camera, over a year ago, it has been attempting to send syslog packets to 50.18.50.50 once every three to four SECONDS.  As far as I can determine, this is some server at amazon.com.  I could not find any settings to disable this odd behavior.  It really cluttered up my firewall logs, and nearly convinced me to toss the camera in the trash when I found out that there was no way to stop it.

I'm happy to say that with this firmware update, my wireless camera is no longer attempting to send syslog packets to amazon.

Hi! Can I download the firmware to my notebook and upgrade the camera from it?  Because it says that we should upgrade the camera having it wired to the router, but it is very hard to me to take the camera off its actual position and I canīt get the router over there...

The latest firmware is available for download here: Firmware. To upload the firmware to your camera, log into the web interface using a browser and navigate to MAINTENANCE > Firmware Upgrade.

Although you can perform this procedure using a wireless connection, I strongly recommend against doing so. If the wireless signal breaks during the upload or the upload timesout during the transfer, you can brick the camera.
