DIR-655 PPPoE Static IP lacks a netmask field
« on: November 04, 2009, 06:06:50 PM »

In the Internet Setup screen, the DIR-655 is missing a NETMASK field for the static ip PPPoE configuration screen. PPTP and L2TP configuration screens both have this field. I have a static subnet from my DSL ISP that gives me a /30 address space of which I can use only one address.

Even if this field is added, is there a way to do 1:1 NAT or use the public IP behind the router anyway? Basically, I can't use one of the two public addresses I'm paying for.
