DIR-880L DHCP failure in Bridge mode:
http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=74056.0

Reproducible with recent v1.20 FW.
Reverting back to v1.08B04 does not reproduce this problem.

FurryNutz:
I realize it maybe too late to ask for this however working with the 880L in bridge mode, I find it very hard to check to see what frequency I'm actually connecting too before I select something from the list. Even though I'm connecting to a tri-band supporting router with Smart Connect enabled, kind of hard to see which frequency I'm trying to work with until after I select something then look at the 880L top LED indicator to see what it connected too. Then again, if there are more than one wifi source with same SSID like i happen to have this evening, makes it hard to tell which wifi source I'm connected too, either router A or wifi extender B.

The DIR-868L old wifi scanner UI gave, channel, signal db, frequency along with SSID names.

The additional information helps to better select a SSID to connect too. I would like to see D-Link add this back to there new UI for, if not current routes that support wireless bridge mode, new and up coming future routers. Would need to keep in mind that if a router supports wireless bridge mode, the scan results would and can return results from tri-band supporting routers that seems to show more than just the one same name SSID. So having some additional information like Frequency and DB status would be help in determining which wireless SSID name to pick from when selecting something to use with a D-Link router that supports wireless bridge mode. It has been a handy feature and I have used it on various occasions. However the new UI makes it harder to use as often as I would like.

Kind of hard to tell which frequency a DIR-880L is connected to in wireless bridge mode with the 890L:

This shows being wired for some reason. Though I chose and SSID which I couldn't tell on the 880L which frequency to select first before saving. The only indication is the top LED on the DIR-880L for 5Ghz was lit up.  :-\
