Title: How to use QoS on my DSL-2730U to prioritize my WAN users .
Post by: mr0nline on February 29, 2012, 07:50:59 PM
Hello .
I have the wireless router D-Link DSL-2730U at my home network that consists of five users and they use it differently , some wanna download and some wanna browse and stream so i was thinking about a way to give high priority to those browsing so that they don't get overwhelmed by those who download as i am not always around to administer the network, and someone told me that it could be done by adjusting my QoS settings in the router controls but i don't know how to do that and was wondering if you could help me .

Thank you in advance :D
Best regards,
Yamen Sharaf.

Can review the Gaming and QoS sticky for XBL in this forum. and that will give you some examples for QoS. Not sure if the UI is the same however the data will work the same.
