Title: DCS-932L Setup Wizard
Post by: FlyingEagle on July 13, 2014, 03:41:40 AM
Hi experts

I bought this camera DCS-932L.

I have dowloaded the current DCS-932L Wizard software.

The camera is plugged in my notebook with ethernet cable, WLAN is active.
The camera is found by the wizard. Connection type is DHCP.

Thereafter a password is asked for user admin, typed an individual password.
Thereafter unplugging the ethernet cable from the camera as requested by the software.

At the end of connection check procedure I am getting the message:
"Could not reach the mydlink server".

If I try it with cable connection (ethernet cable at wizard step "choose a connection"), should the camera be plugged in the notebook (just for the installation process or in the DSL router)?

Which connection must I use? PPoE, static IP adress or DHCP?

Sorry, but the documentation is good, but for a beginner a bit difficult...
thank you
