Title: Change default resolution in mydlink app?
Post by: Richard Ingelsson on April 05, 2018, 04:18:31 AM
Just installed a DCS-936L and when I select the 720p resolution in the mydlink app it always reverts to 420p next time I start the app - is there a way to set 720p as default?

NB: I have tried to reach the camera settings through the web gui - with IE, Edge, Firefox and Chrome - but that doesn't work.

What Mfr and model is the main host router?

You can access the camera web page at the IP address it gets from the main host router in IE11 or FF ESR browsers.

Can you change the resolution by using the older MyDlink Lite app? Mine does.

Yes, 720 works and can select 240. These can be modified via advance settings, in the Audio and Video page.
