Title: Setup issues
Post by: Kenm22 on January 13, 2010, 06:18:15 AM
Can you help me with D-Link WBR-2310 setup issues?

Before we begin, I have English grammar issues so thank for your patience :-)

I bought D-link wireless router three weeks ago. I had setup D-Link router three times and reset to factory default settings three times. Week later, I reset factory setting 4th times. I went through setup, step-to-step, and re-configured settings on D-Link Wireless Router. Sudden it turned my Internet Connection to limited. Setup wizard re-configured router setting. Final step failed. I created password, WEP Key and saved to my desktop. It said Error 302 setup failed, please take CD out, re-insert CD and restart your PC. I re-installed router with power cord, ethernet, and power supply. CD are scratch-free. My Internet are fine. What is wrong?

I think it is better to setup the route manually, rather using the setup CD.

Before setting up manually, you need to consider the following.

* Type of ISP: Cable or DSL
if using DSL: Username and Password profived by ISP
if cable: Use main PC for setting up the router. (for MAC cloning purpose)

* make sure to connect the ISP modem > Router > PC (Check cable connections, power and lights on router.

* Access router setup page then configure the router according to ISP requirements.

* Save the Settings then Test connection.

Hope this helps,
