My cam is dead after a bad firmware update
« on: October 24, 2016, 01:20:13 PM »

Hi to all,

I'm new in this forum... I have a DCS825L cam. I've tried to do a firmware upgrade and I don't know why, but the cam is been dead...
I have contacted with the support team and they have sent to me a link with some procedures to recover the cam but any process is not working
Anyone knows how I can recover it???

Thanks in advance!!

David.

Can try this:
 Emergency Recovery Mode
Look at the camera section...

If this fails, I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.
