Title: Low quality image with mjpeg streaming
Post by: Gian_911 on January 03, 2018, 03:15:15 AM
Hi everyone, i recently purchased a DCS 2530L (my previous ipcam was a DCS 5222LB1). I am used to remotely connect to http://public_ip:port/video1.mjpeg url and watch the stream from any browser. However, i noticed that image quality is pretty low (despite in the settings page it's set on "excellent"). If i connect from MyDlink app or from webserver (on Internet Explorer) quality is much better.. i already tried to change resolution and to upgrade firmware to version 1.03 but nothing changed. In attachment you can see 2 screenshot (one taken from Internet Explorer, with good quality, and the other one from the Mjpeg streaming with some "big pixels")
Is there some adjustments i can do?

Thanks for your support

Probably not.  That's the difference between h264 and mjpeg.
