Got my 2 for $69.99 EACH on sale.

The web interface is FAST compared to others.

Also, I'm surprised to JPEG image quality level (low to high!).

And it is quiet in turning, no noise, very light weight...  especially compared to the heavy 5222L.

Sure, it's a dumbed down model, and it does vga only, but worthy of filling in blind spots that don't need HD.



And it's a business camera with an L.

Yes 5020L. D-Link maintains a DCS-5020L board. I need to confirm that these are in fact identical cameras. If the two models are identical (except for the case color), we would only need to update the name of the DCS-5020L board to reflect both models.

From what I can tell, the differences are: the white 5020L has built in wifi extender and sound detection, while the 5010l does not.

Also the 5020l is consumer model, the black 5010L is business model.


Odd thing is my Java viewer in the f/w worked yesterday, but has not since in Chrome. Errors out.

I came to the same conclusion last night after reading the datasheets posted for both cameras. I had to do a double-take on the datasheets since they were both essentially the same document with just a few subtle variations.
