Video problem
« on: March 17, 2012, 05:40:11 AM »

I installed D-ViewCam 3.20, new DevicePack but still can not see video from the DCS 932-L. Showing is moving cubes, a few lines. New computer, Windows 7 64-bit. The same problem is also on the video display via the web interface. I tried to install video codecs, did not help. On another computer in order. Can you please help? Thank you.

Hi dmi.
Have you tried updating to the last Device Pack 1.4.0 ?
Download, install it and see if it works out for you.

Thank you for your message. On another computer, the video displays correctly. The problem is only on this computer. I bought this computer specifically for the cameras - the new Dell Vostro 460 / Intel i7-2600 / 8GB / 1TB (7200) / DVDRW / ATI 6670 1GB / W7 for 64-bit. I tried to install video codecs, the latest driver .. Nothing helped. I do not know where else he could be a problem. I need to make it work just on this computer ;( Any idea please? Thank you in advance for your help ..

can you see video through a web browser?

Try booting up to safe mode with networking see if that works.

Try downloading D-View Cam 3.11 instead, I heard that 3.2 is kinda buggy from the
posts I have seen.  I have misplaced the url for this sorry, but I know I have found it
in these posts somewhere.

here it is:   ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Multimedia/D-View%20Cam/

I have the exact same issue to a T.  Can't figure this one out but I am suspecting it has something to do with the mpeg codec.

I got the same problem. Video work great on another computer (also running windows 7 64bit).. Stillpicture work fine though.

Tried to install Mainconsept MJPEG codec; didn't help.
Tried to disable firewall and antivirus; didn't help.
Tried two different browsers, IE and Opera; didn't help.
Tried different quality settings; didn't help.
Installed newest firmware and d-link software; didn't help.
Tried both Java and ActiveX; no diff.
Tried from IE thru a VM running XP; didn't help.
