dwa-130b "creating" networks
« on: February 21, 2011, 11:44:28 AM »

I'm trying to set up Win7's homegroups but cannot for the computer this adapter is on because according to Windows' Network and Sharing Center, the network it is on is "awardhouse 3".  According to the adapter's manager, it is connected to "awardhouse".  Windows will not let me disconnect from "awardhouse 3" but will allow other networks to be seen.

I've tried deleting the network from the D-Link manager and doing a full manual add via Windows' own network manager.  Doing this causes Windows to show the network, I'll connect to it, and it says connected for about a second before getting disconnected.  Even then in the main "Network and Sharing Center" window, it still calls the network "awardhouse 3" despite the pop-up selector showing "awardhouse" being connected.

Please help, i'm at my wits end!
