Title: DIR 615, can't log into "admin" to make changes, help?
Post by: Canadian667 on December 12, 2012, 12:08:34 PM
I have a DLink N300 (DIR 615), firmware 9.02NA.
I've been trying to log into the "admin" but was only able to once. When I did get it everything was greyed out so I couldn't make any changes.

Does anyone have any suggestions on why I can't log in?

Thanks, John

I'm referring to the login here: http://192.168.0.1
"Authentication failed"

What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.

What browser are you using?
Try Opera or FF? If IE 8 or 9, set compatibility mode and test again. Use the ADMIN log in, not the USER log in if you see a drop down.

Default settings out of the box is ADMIN and password is blank. So just click on the log in button.
Might have to do a factory reset
