How do I find the FS Type of my RAID set?
« on: September 07, 2012, 08:20:38 PM »

I have been using a DNS-343 for about a year.
I recently acquired a second DNS-343.
During the Initialise/Format sequence I was asked for the FS Type, and given a choice of Ext2 or Ext3.
On the latest I chose Ext3.
How do I determine what I chose on the older DNS-343?

I looked through the Status screens, but no luck.

You've raised an issue many DNS-343 owners have raised. After a HDD is formatted RAID or otherwise, there's no way to determine if the selected format was EXT2 or EXT3.
