Title: DNS-343 RAID format
Post by: tobvin on November 07, 2011, 03:59:28 AM
Hi,
I recently sent in my DNS-343 RAID5 for data recovery. The data recovery specialist said the couldn't save my RAID because, according to them,  D-Link employs a proprietary RAID format. This statement astonished me, since I was under the impression that the DNS-343 uses a standard Linux MD RAID.

There are several applications ShareCenter owners have used to successfully recover data stored on DNS-343 RAID configurations. Please see the following sticky post: http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=41400.0 (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=41400.0)
