Well one thing I noticed instantly; this update completely disables support for Edge or Chrome.

Still works in Firefox. Works in Firefox on Linux, even, which implies it would probably function just fine in Chrome and Edge if D-Link didn't deliberately disable them. Not by changing a feature, but literally by detecting other browsers and then presenting the following:

"The browser you are using may have difficulty receiving images and video. If you experience any issues viewing this page, we suggest using Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or Apple Safari."

The way this is worded, it implies they intend for you to be able to click through, but there is no such functionality in the page.

In fact, by using a user agent switcher to make Chrome lie and say it's IE, I get to the page just fine. Bad form, D-Link. By all means warn me that some features require another browser, but if I choose to continue to use Chrome that's my business, not yours. IE isn't even going to be a thing in a year or two except in Enterprise versions of Windows.

If you review this, this model DCS camera doesn't support EDGE in windows 10:

I presume that due to Google disabling some plug-ins in there browser, that D-Link chose not to support Chrome as well.

We find that IE11 works ok in Windows 10 in some cases and FF works the best and is more flexible when dealing with plug-ins.
I recommend using FF anyways and it handles DCS cameras very well.

Uploading of an image to FTP server is now limited to maximum 1900 seconds between each upload.
That's inconvenient for a webcam that is supposed to upload an image every hour (3600 seconds).

Might give D-View Cam a try.

I'd contact D-Link support and ask them if this can be changed.

Please post an image where it states this?

It's not stated anywhere, it's just the effect of whatever that is put in if more than 1900.
I had 3600 as input, when the time of the images where uploaded today as seen below. I.e. 1900 sec between each image.
12   13   44
11   42   4
11   10   24
10   38   44
10   7   4
9   35   24
9   3   44
8   32   4

I don't understand your numbers, but I understand the issue now.

Not sure if you tried other numbers other than 3600 - can you try 7200? Maybe it will be 3800?

I'll try to upload an image every hour  on some other dcs models (I don't have this one), and see what happens (if the option is available).
