Good afternoon to everyone!
I'm in trouble with Facebook WiFi. I hope you could help me.
I've bought this router from ebay directly from USA. The router came with 1.07 firmware. I've downloader and updated the router with firmware 1.04 for facebook wifi.
Hardware Version: A1 and Firmware Version 1.04.

I've a optical fiber line with a fiber router so I need to configure the 865 as Wireless Access Point. I've followed this instructions http://www.manualslib.com/manual/394908/D-Link-Dir-865l.html?page=16#manual page 16 and 17 to configure as AP and everithing went fine. The fiber router gave the dynamic ip to the mobile phone and I can navigate.
Here my problems started!!!! I've tried to set the GUEST NETWORK first to set Facebook WIFI.

Clicked on GUEST ZONE Tab --> GUEST ZONE FACEBOOK WI-FI --> Enable Guest Zone
Session 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz as follow
Enable Guest Zone: Always
Wireless Band:2.4GHz Band
Wireless Network Name: FreeFi Ink-formatica  (Also called the SSID)
Security Mode: None

In ACCESS CONTROL I've left all blank... In action no ALLOW no DENY and the remote ip range is grey....

On my phone an iPhone 6s Plus i've searched the FreeFi Ink-formatica and connected to this... The phone says: 192.168.7.101 but no line... I can't access internet... Obviously if I check the ENABLE FACEBOOK WIFI the router give me this message: Try again and check your internet connection...

My first question is: Why the router gave me the ip 192.168.7.101??? I'm expected the first dhcp ip avalaible from the fiber router.... It's possible to change the dynamic ip gave from 865?
The second question: It's possible to solve this problem and made this router functioning with Facebook?

Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations

• What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?

How is the 865L connected to the ISP modem/ONT? WAN port or LAN port?

My ISP is TelecomItalia and the modem is a Technicolor AG Plus VDNT-S

The 865 is connected via LAN port and the port Internet is EMPTY.

The guest network function depends on the WAN port being used. Guest Zone resides on the WAN side of the router.

So, you tell me there's no way to use this feature in my configuration? Another hole in the water... It's the third router tried....
Asus Cisco and this... No way to use the wan port as an access point?

No.

Only thing you might try is connect the WAN port to the main router/modem and if that router/modem has a DMZ, place the IP address the 865L WAN port gets from the main host router in it's DMZ as see if that works.

Oh.... WTF... I don't have DMZ on my crapy fiber router.... And if I use the bridge mode and configure the connection as PPPoE? Do you think will be possible?

Yes, if you can bridge the ISP modem and use the 865L as your main host router and the WAN port, then Guest Network will work as intended.

Just a new step forward!!!! I've realized a fake DMZ on my fiber router set on 192.168.1.250. At this moment I've 2 cables connected to the dir-865. The first from the lan1 of the fiber router connected to lan1 of dir-865, the second one from lan2 to WAN/Internet of the dir-865. Now the situation is the follow:

And I was able to configure the facebook wifi... I've got in my hands my charming iPhone and connected to FreeFi Ink-formatica... I Opened my web browser and searched www.google.it and..... https://www.facebook.com YEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSS!!!! But after registered on our business page the navigation stops and no opportunity to surf the web.... Why?

Only one cable should be connecting the DIR-865L to the main host router/modem and that should be to the WAN port on the 865L. You need to disconnect the LAN1 cable from the main host modem/router. All other LAN ports on the 865L are for wired PCs, game consoles or external network switches.
