Title: WiFi up, unable to connect
Post by: endo129 on January 27, 2017, 09:29:31 AM
Hello,

For the last few month I have been noticing that my router seems to randomly drop its connection to all my devices. The network appears to still be up, but I cannot connect to the internet or even to the router wirelessly. I've mad e some changes and firmware updates that have improved the issue, but it still happens, just not as much. What I have noticed in the logs is that when it goes down I see a lot of the following with varying details as far as IPs and sequences. I fact, I see these messages constantly while it is down.

Blocked incoming TCP packet from 104.244.42.194:443 to 24.144.219.88:52270 with unexpected sequence 1548970904 (expected 998373627 to 1002567868)

I've read something about disabling SPI but also read that it's a good security feature.

Any help and suggestions are appreciated!

Router Placement
Forum User - "Well I feel really dumb. After moving the router away from other electronic devices my speeds are back to normal. Just a heads up for anyone experiencing slow speeds, you might want to move it away from other electronics and see if that helps."
3-6' feet minimum safe distance between devices.
Placement on main level floor and central in the building and WELL ventilated is preferred. Not in basements or closets as building materials, or near by electronics devices could interfere or hinder good signal propagation.
