Cannot set Motion Detection Blocks - Java Issue

(1/2) > >>

Libertarian:
I have installed latest version of Java, but accessing the camera from IE will not show the motion detection image.  I cannot select blocks of the image to monitor.  I get NO alerts, even standing in front of the camera.

I have the latest version of Java, and verified from Java's website.

Any advice?

FurryNutz:
Clear all browser caches and try again.
Might configure Compatibility mode in IE11.
Are you using IE11 x64 or x32 bit?

Try installing FF ESR version of there browser as well.

Might configure Compatibility mode in IE11.  Tried that.  Breaks it compoetely.  403 error.

IE11, Windows 8.1 64-bit Enterprise, so probably x64.

Try installing FF ESR version of there browser as well.  I had hoped just using IE would be enough.

I should have known when these were on sale two for one on GroupOn, it was end of life time.

FurryNutz:
Try the suggestions and let us know.

Libertarian:
I believe I indicated that I did, except for installing an old version of Firefox.  It's currently at release 59.

Do the newer cameras require Java as well?
