And video recording to SD only hung up after 15 events.

Given that email notifications went on and on, the problem is not with the motion detection, but rather in the combination of motion detection and video being sent to either ftp or SD. However, if video is enabled in a mix with emailing of snapshots, then email notifications will also become suspended after a while.

Should I contact support or do techs from D-Link read this?

Hey Watcher, I have passed the info you provided to some of our techs for them to review and see if they can replicate or have any knowledge of the issue. But yes, I'd also recommend you contact your regions support office.

Odd question but does your camera feel like it is warmer than it should be while running?

Hi!

It does feel a bit too warm to the touch. I have a remote thermometer, and I measured the backplate in a range between 45C at the bottom and 56C at the hottest spot where the QR code is on the sticker.

For comparison, a 2630L (which is located at a better-aired place) measures 47C at the hottest stop. on the back top part.

Any status on this?  ???

I have this same issue.  There will be GAPS in motion detection recording.

I have this enabled:

* SD recording (video)
FTP snapshot and FTP video
*
One workaround is the reduce the video resolution of Profile 1 (e.g. 800x600) and the motion detection recording can work well.
If set to max resolution, the motion detection recording gap is erratic.
